Monday, 6/6: Memorize your lines and rehearse.

Tuesday, 6/7: Half day - no ELA. Tomorrow bring your music, costumes, and props for our dress rehearsal.

Wednesday, 6/8: Dress rehearsal today.

Thursday, 6/9: No School. Be prepared for tomorrow's performance day.

Friday, 6/10: PERFORMANCE DAY. Be sure to bring any costumes, music (ipod or send me the mp3 file), and final project packet that includes:

Packet due: Tuesday, June 14

-One typed copy of the paraphrased lines.

-Prompt book with scene notes of emotions, movements, line emphasis, stage directions in margins for ALL characters (each group member must include his/her packet with name on it).

-Justification of scene.

**Note: Finish reading Persepolis by Monday, May 13. Independent Reading assignment #6 will be completed in class.

Final Project (of your ELA CS career)

Tuesday, 5/24: Begin rehearsing for your R and J scene. Choose a setting if you haven't already. Bring in signed progress report.

Wednesday, 5/25: Finish paraphrasing/cutting your scene if you didn't do so in class.

Thursday, 5/26: NO ELA. Rehearse your lines.

Friday, 5/27: Memorize your lines.

Next week - Memorial holiday + camping trip = 1 day of ELA.

Monday, 5/2: Independent reading stamina– try for a focused reading of 45 minutes non-stop. Relax, eat breakfast, get solid rest.

Wednesday, 5/4: ELA State Exam.

Thursday, 5/5: Independent reading.

Friday, 5/6: You should have finished your fifth independent reading book by today. The fifth assignment will be assigned next week.

Monday, 4/11:Mask Project for Masked Ball due Tuesday, 4/12. Rehearse your lines!

Tuesday, 4/12: Masked ball! Come in costume (optional - extra life points)
