A Look Ahead after Thanksgiving Break:
1) Revise Analytical Essay--due Wednesday, 12/1.
Reminders:
-Analysis: At the end of each paragraph, be sure to thoroughly describe how each example supports your thesis. In other words, how does this example prove that the character is the most powerful? You may refer back to words from the text and also predict and respond to what others may see as a flaw in your argument.
-Transition words to use at the beginning of each paragraph: Also, In addition, Moreover, Furthermore, On the other hand, In the same manner, Likewise.
2) Begin studying for the academic olympics for ELA (tentative date: Friday, 12/3). Use your midterm study guide, greek root words, greek origin words, WNB chart, and Greek Mythology book.
